And how is Sgt. Thatcher, and what did he say?

Seargent Thatcher

Seargent Thatcher is doing well for an 80+ year old. We visited and I asked about things portrayed in the movie Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo. Our visit was filled with several questions about what happened after the landing in China and the events the movie alludes to but does not complete. Mr. Thatcher was most gracious in talking to a total stranger. I Thank him for his hospitality and his service to our country.

Glad to hear he's well and gracious with strangers. I hope he's enjoying a long and happy life at peace, with his family.
