Maj. Thos. C. Griffin, navigator, crew No. 9

I've become aware that Maj. Griffin was able to attend last week's 70th reunion. I would very much like to ask him a few questions about the Raider navigators' instrumentation and equipment. So far, there seems to be a dearth of such information either on-line or in print.

I was a MAC/ANG nav during the Vietnam era and am also a member of AFNOA, the Air Force Navigators and Observers Association. It is our intent to gather factual information about Raider navigation (see this topic in General Raider Topics), document it, and publish in appropriate venues such as doolittleraider.com and AFNOA's "DR Ahead."

Please reply to this website if you know how I might contact Maj. Griffin or if you have any other info that would help with our quest.

Sorry, the only opportunitys you will have to "talk" with the Raiders would be at the Reunions. We can not give out personal information for the Raiders at their request.
